Volleyball Registration Fall 2023

Friendships, Encouragement, Community, Belonging... Have you Discovered Community? That is why we have a co-op. This is what our co-op is all about.

ELCC was founded in 2009 by a small group of families and has grown to serve hundreds of families over the past 11 years. This has only been possible through our member families' and community's dedication and support. Completing this form is requesting membership in this community and embracing the community and mission of ELCC.

Volleyball season runs from August 1 to October 31 and coincides nicely with first-semester co-op classes. Aside from learning the sport, the main purpose of our volleyball program is to offer a place for socialization and connection. Many students build closer friendships, and families get to know each other in a smaller setting through this ministry.

In accordance with guidance from the OHSAA for player safety, practices will be held 3 days per week. Our practices are on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Games start in mid-August, and total practice/game days will not exceed three days per week. High school games are typically on a Monday or Tuesday evening. All practices are in Heath, and all games are within a 45-minute drive of the co-op.

Any student can play with ELCC because we are a club team, and potential members should review this registration to determine if ELCC is a good fit for them. PLEASE NOTE: ELCC plays in a league and participates in league games, standings, tournaments and scouting in high school. Any high school player should ONLY play for ONE ENTITY, as it could make you ineligible for the season everywhere if you play for both ELCC and your local public school and in another league.

ELCC Volleyball is a club team. Girls Volleyball (7th grade and Up) ($40.00) [9 remaining]

For the safety of our athletes, all persons must play with the team that conforms to the gender as assigned at birth. Practices are Monday from 4 - 5:30pm, and Tuesdays/Thursdays from 5- 6:30pm in Heath.
For the Varsity team - Games are on Monday or Tuesday evenings. Away games are on Mondays (6) and are held at New Covenant Believers Church in Columbus, there is one away game at CLC in Heath on a Tuesday. Home games will be at the Cornerstone Church (4) on Tuesdays. We have one more spot open for a home game that we hope to fill.
For JV players - Away games will be at the YMCA on Saturday mornings. (7) and home games (2) will be the Cornerstone church on Tuesday evenings. Games/Practices will not exceed 3 days per week. A JV coach is needed!
To play - your birthdate must be AFTER Sept 1, 2004, and before Sept 1, 2012. Students will be divided between the teams based on age.
